Mashed Potatoes

These Mashed Potatoes make the perfect side-dish! They're creamy, buttery, rich, and simple to make.

 


It wouldn't be a proper comfort-meal without mashed potatoes. This recipe is the perfect combination of creamy, buttery, and garlic.





 

 

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: BOIL
  • In a large pot, boil the potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes).

STEP 2: MASH
  • Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until you reach your desired consistency and gradually add the buttermilk.

  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well until fully incorporated.

STEP 3: SERVE
 


 

INGREDIENTS

Makes 4-5 servings

  • 2 lb red potatoes (about 5 or 6)

  • 1/2 C butter

  • 1/4 C Buttermilk

  • 1/4 C sour cream

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 TBSP parsley, chopped
