This Mango Habanero BBQ Sauce is packed with fresh mangoes, habanero peppers, and smoked paprika. It's sweet, spicy, smokey, and absolutely delicious!

We love to add this Mango Habanero BBQ sauce to sandwiches, burgers, grilled chicken-- it's hard to go wrong. This sauce is so good and so easy to make.

  • Citrus Juicer

  • Blender

  • Ripe mangos

  • Habanero peppers

  • Red onion

  • Garlic

  • Lime

  • Honey

  • Smoked paprika

  • Brown sugar

  • Sour cream (or Greek yogurt or mayo)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: MANGO
  • With the mango stem facing upwards, carefully cut about a 1/2-inch away from the stem in the direction parallel to the widest part of the seed on each side. Once the seed is removed, score the remaining pieces into cubes and cut them off of the peel.

STEP 2: HABANERO
  • Cut the stems off of the peppers and carefully* cut the peppers in half. Remove the seeds. *CAUTION: Habaneros are full of spicy capsaicin that can stick to your fingers. It will burn if it gets in your eyes or other sensitive areas. Using gloves to keep the capsaicin off your hands and carefully dispose of them after use is recommended.

STEP 3: BLEND
  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

One of our favorite pairings for this sauce is our Grilled Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich.
