Hot Honey Ranch Butter

If you love spicy-sweet creaminess, you'll love this Hot Honey Ranch Butter. The base of this recipe is identical to our viral Hot Honey Ranch, but instead, this is spreadable butter that is amazing on fresh bread or even used as the base of pasta sauce. Watch the recipe video HERE.

 



The base of this Hot Honey Ranch Butter is a garlic-infused chili oil made of red chili flakes, sesame seeds, fresh garlic, and salt. One thing you really can't compromise on in this recipe is fresh dill-- this is an important component of delicious ranch flavor.





 

 

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: HEAT OIL
  • Heat avocado oil to 250°F.

STEP 2: MAKE CHILI OIL
  • To a wok or deep pan, add the crushed red chili flakes, sesame seeds, garlic cloves, and salt.

  • Pour hot oil over the ingredients and mix.

STEP 3: COOL CHILI OIL
  • Let the chili oil cool to room temperature.

STEP 4: COMBINE RANCH INGREDIENTS
  • Once the chili oil has cooled, add all remaining ingredients: Butter, Homemade Ranch Seasoning, honey, and dill. Mix thoroughly.

STEP 5: SERVE
  • Serve on bread, in pasta sauce, or anything else that you want to add a delicious savory and spicy-sweet flavor bomb to.


 


 

INGREDIENTS

Makes 1.5 cups

  • 1 C high-heat, neutral oil

  • 1/2 C crushed red chili flakes

  • 1 TBSP sesame seeds

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tsp salt

  • Homemade Ranch Seasoning (see below)

  • 1 C butter, salted

  • 2 TBSP fresh dill, roughly chopped

  • 1/3 C honey


HOMEMADE RANCH SEASONING

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder

  • Salt to taste
