This Honey Garlic Chicken is a sticky, garlicky chicken recipe coated in an easy honey garlic pepper sauce.
This chicken gets marinated in a simple marinade, then it’s grilled over charcoal before coating in the savory-sweet sauce. However, you can also cook this chicken in the air fryer or oven (see directions).
WHAT YOU'LL NEED (scroll to full ingredient list)

Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Chicken stock
Fresh thyme
Fresh parsley
Honey
Butter
White wine vinegar
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Kosher salt
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: MARINADE
Add all the marinade ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well.
Add the chicken and fully coat in the marinade.
STEP 2: MARINATE
Cover the mixing bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours, or at least 30 minutes.
STEP 3: COOK

Alternatively, the chicken can be cooked at 400F for 12-15 minutes in an air fryer or 25-30 minutes in the oven. Give the chicken a flip halfway through.
STEP 4: HONEY GARLIC SAUCE
Add the olive oil to a preheated skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, then turn the heat to low and add in the chicken stock.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well and then bring to a low simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
STEP 5: COAT
Add the cooked chicken to the pan and fully coat it with the sauce.
