These Cinnamon Maple Butter Waffles are the tastiest way to start your morning! They're soft and fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside, and smothered in homemade Cinnamon Maple Butter.
Light and fluffy waffles topped with butter infused with rich maple syrup, vanilla that adds additional flavor and aromatic complexity, and cinnamon that brings a hint of sweet and warm flavor. This is what a Saturday morning should taste like!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED (scroll to full ingredient list)
Flour
Baking powder
Cinnamon
Eggs
Milk
Vanilla extract
Butter
Granulated Sugar
Powdered sugar
Maple syrup (raw & dark)
Salt
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: CINNAMON MAPLE BUTTER
Combine the butter ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Set half of the Cinnamon Maple Butter aside and transfer the rest to a sheet of parchment paper. Fold the parchment paper over the butter and form into a block. Refrigerate the block of butter for 10-15 minutes until it becomes slightly firm.
STEP 2: WAFFLES
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a Mixing Bowl and mix.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until peaks form. This is an optional step, but it helps keep the waffles light and fluffy on the inside.
Add the egg yolk mixture to the flour ingredients and mix. Slowly incorporate the beaten egg whites.
Preheat the waffle iron and let the batter rest for 10-15 mins.
On the greased waffle iron, add the waffle mixture and cook until golden brown.
STEP 3: SERVE
Top the waffle with a pat of Cinnamon Maple Butter and a drizzle of maple syrup.

1/2 C unsalted butter, softened
1/4 C powdered sugar
1 TBSP maple syrup, raw & dark
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
WAFFLE
2 C Flour
1.5 TBSP baking powder
1 TBSP granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs, divided
1.5 C whole milk
1/4 C Cinnamon Maple Butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
