Cilantro Lime Chicken

This Cilantro Lime Chicken with Charred Jalapeño Lime Dipping Sauce is simple, quick, and exceptionally tasty! Pair with a refreshingly hoppy American Pale Ale for a winning combo.

 




This lime-based marinade infuses the chicken with a delicious zesty flavor. The chicken is amazing on its own, but the Charred Jalapeño Lime Sauce elevates it by adding a creamy consistency and bright flavor.





 

 

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: MAKE MARINADE
  • In a bowl: combine fresh lime juice and zest, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix.

STEP 2: ADD CHICKEN TO MARINADE
  • Transfer the marinade to a 1-gallon Ziploc bag and add the chicken.

  • Refrigerate overnight (or at least 1 hour).

STEP 3: GRILL CHICKEN
  • Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and grill to an internal temperature of 170°F.

STEP 5: SERVE




 


 

INGREDIENTS

Makes 5-6 servings


  • Marinade

    • 4 lbs bone-in chicken

    • Zest of 2 limes

    • 4 limes

    • 2 garlic cloves, minced

    • 1/2 tsp cumin

    • 1 tsp chili powder

    • 1 tsp salt

    • 1 tsp pepper

    • 1/2 C cilantro, chopped

    • 1/2 C olive oil
