This Chipotle Butter Salmon is crispy, and buttery, and it has little heat from the Garlic Fire Oil.

The salmon in this recipe is very easy and fast to prepare-- no marinade or prep time. This is seasoned with a little smoked sea salt and black pepper before pan-searing.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (scroll to full ingredient list)
Salmon
Black pepper
Chipotle pepper (in adobo)
1/2 C Butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 TBSP crushed red pepper
Salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: CHIPOTLE BUTTER
Combine the butter, garlic, crushed red pepper, finely minced chipotle pepper, and salt in a small bowl and mix together.
Add the butter mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper and roll into a log.
Place the Chipotle Butter in the refrigerator until ready to use.
STEP 2: SALMON
Dry all surfaces of the salmon with a paper towel to remove any moisture.
Season all sides of the salmon with smoked sea salt and black pepper within 5 minutes of cooking.
STEP 3: SEAR
Add a little Garlic Fire Oil to a preheated pan over medium heat.
Sear the salmon, skin-side down, and cook for 5-6 minutes.
Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until your desired doneness is reached.
Remove from heat.
NOTE: If cooking a thick piece of salmon, searing the sides of the fish may be necessary.
STEP 4: SERVE
Top the salmon with the Chipotle Butter and serve.
