Cheddar Jalapeno Pull-apart Garlic Bread

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: COMBINE
  • Mix yeast, water, and melted butter until soft, shaggy dough forms.

  • Knead dough until smooth on a lightly floured surface, about 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Let rest, covered at room temperature for 10 minutes.

STEP 2: STRETCH
  • On a floured surface, stretch out dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch in thickness.

  • Then stir together melted butter, jalapeño juice, and garlic bread seasoning.

STEP 3: FILL & ROLL
  • Pour about half of the garlic butter mix onto the dough and spread it out evenly.

  • Add a layer of shredded cheese over the dough. Then roll the dough into a log.

  • Cut the dough into 16 equal-sized pieces and arrange in a greased baking dish.

  • Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375F.

STEP 4: TOP
  • Add the rest of the garlic butter mix to the top of the garlic bread.

  • Then sprinkle with cheese and top with sliced jalapeños.

STEP 5: BAKE
  • Bake for 22 to 28 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Cool for 10 minutes.

  • Serve warm.



 


 

INGREDIENTS

Makes 10-12 servings


GARLIC BUTTER MIX

  • 2 TBSP juice from jalapeño jar

  • 6 TBSP unsalted butter, melted

  • Garlic Bread Seasoning (included in box)

  • 1/2 lb sharp cheddar, shredded

  • 1/2 lb white cheddar, shredded


  • Sliced jalapeños, pickled


SERVING (OPTIONAL)

  • 1 TBSP fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 C Buttermilk Ranch
